Bushing Production
SPE manufactures and supplies bushes to customers all around the world. These bushes are either packaged and shipped directly to our clients or integrated as components in wishbones, link stabilizers, track control arms, and lateral arms.

In addition to control arms, SPE also supplies separately manufactured bushes to customers all over the world. As one of the global leaders in bushing production, SPE also manufactures and trades other products such as engine mounts, stabilizer bar bushings, bellows, transmission mounts, and shock absorber mounts.
All bushing production is carried out in-house at our own facilities. Bushes are categorized into four main groups: control arm bushings, stabilizer link bushings, sway bar (Z-link) bushings, and stabilizer bar bushings.
Bushes are specifically designed to provide an intelligent connection between rubber and metal. These designs have a significant impact on both driving dynamics and vehicle safety. Moreover, with today’s evolving chassis designs, the use of rubber-metal components in control arms and link arms has become increasingly common.
The vulcanized bond between natural rubber and metal is carefully designed to accommodate vehicle vibrations, playing a key role in enhancing driving comfort.
Operating Principles of Our Bushing Production Department
- Surface coating is applied to metal components to be used in the vulcanization process.
- Using transfer and injection molding presses that are fully computer-controlled and monitored, a natural rubber compound is vulcanized onto the metal components.
- Each bushing offers high durability and reliable driving safety.
- Our products exhibit excellent performance thanks to precisely matched material characteristics and optimized damping of chassis vibrations.
Perfect Fit for Flawless Service
Bushings are comfort and safety components specifically designed to reduce vibration and noise at the connection points where suspension parts are mounted to the vehicle chassis.
Depending on the vehicle design, bushes can be made entirely of natural rubber, or they may combine metal and rubber materials. Today, the use of high-strength engineering plastics instead of metal is also becoming more common.
How Are Bushes Produced?
The bushing production process begins with a rigorous quality inspection of incoming raw materials. If metal components are required, production continues with the shaping of metal tubes using eccentric presses.
These tubes are then subjected to surface cleaning, sandblasting, degreasing, and painting to ensure optimal adhesion between the rubber and metal. Once the cleaning is complete, the metal parts are painted in a fully automated line where coating thickness is continuously monitored.
Following these surface treatments, the metal parts are processed with rubber compounds in automated injection presses with cold runner systems, resulting in the final product.
The rubber compounds used in vulcanization are sourced from A-class suppliers to ensure OEM-quality standards. These compounds are stored in cold rooms within the facility until they are ready for production, preserving their technical properties.
After vulcanization, deflashing operations are performed, and phosphate or chrome plating is applied to prevent corrosion based on the intended usage conditions.
At every stage of production, quality control is conducted meticulously by experienced experts. Ensuring high driving safety and consistent component durability is a shared mission across the entire production team.
Produced bushings may be packaged and shipped directly to customers or more commonly sent to our own Stamped Control Arm, Z-Link, and Control Arm with Ball Joint factories for use in final suspension assemblies.
